UK is known for its vast land across Europe and many of the most popular places that has a really nice view and ambiance are UK's spectacular golf courses. There, people can have a chance to enjoy the spectacular scenery and play golf on the golf courses that are built for the love of golf. Most of these golf clubs also have their own shops where you can find good golf clubs and some discount golf equipment from the finest brands of golf equipments manufacturers.

Royal Birkdale Golf Club

Open in 1954, Royal Birkdale is regarded by many to be the finest championship venue of all. And in order to get an idea of the stature of the course, one only has to look at the events that have been staged there. Eight Open Championships, two Ryder Cups, the Walker Cup, the Curtis Cup and countless major amateur events have all been played over the hallowed turf of Royal Birkdale.

Gleneagles (King's)

James Braid fashioned the Gleneagles Hotel King's course that opened in 1919 set in the splendour of the Perthshire hills in Scotland. It has matured into one of the best moorland lay-outs in Scotland with majestic views of the Ochil Hills, Ben Vorlich and the Trossachs. The holes blend perfectly into the landscape, the springy fairways wind through heather and gorse. Mature pines, silver birch and rowan provide natural amphitheatres on several holes. One great hole follows another through rolling terrain until the memorable 525-yard 18th King’s Hame where a good drive speeds over a ridge between the twin bunkers to a downslope towards the largest green on the course.

Royal Liverpool Golf Club

With the exception of Westward Ho! in Devon, Royal Liverpool is the oldest seaside course in England. The original layout was conceived by Robert Chambers and George Morris, and was extended to 18 holes in 1871, the same year that it was awarded its Royal status. In the early days, the links land doubled as the racecourse of the Liverpool Hunt Club, but these days the golf course takes centre stage.

The Vale Resort

The Vale Resort set amidst over 650 acres of beautiful Welsh countryside, is now firmly established as one of the UK’s most desirable golf destinations. Once part of the Hensol Castle estate – a 17th century stately home, the Resort is home to a luxuriously appointed 143 bedroom, four star hotel with the majority of the rooms affording superb views of the golf course and surrounding countryside. Every aspect of the Resort has been designed to maximize comfort and convenience for every type of golfer. The Vale boasts two championship standard golf courses, the highly acclaimed 7,433 yard Wales National and the aptly named Lake course which have further boosted Wales’ reputation as an elite golfing destination in the build up to the 2010 Ryder Cup.
